Here is a recent thread where I posted a copy of our cover letter for my stepson's (K-2) approved AOS packet:

yes thank you very much, the forms and documents mentioned are for both k1 and k2 beneficiaries? I am applying for my wife and her stepson?

My response and information was based upon your initial inquiry about "forms needed for K2 beneficiary." The K2 cover letter was just an abbreviated version of the one I used for my wife's K1 cover letter. Sorry, at the present time, I don't have access to the K1 cover letter. It should be easy to expand the K2 letter as needed. Another viable option is to use the forum's Google search function, looking for "K1 AOS cover letter." It is a topic that is discussed almost weekly on this forum.

Good luck on your immigration journey.
