Hi everyone! finally hubby got the hardcopy of NOA2 after a week from the email noticed... now hubby will start to call NVC this coming friday for our invoice and MCN#... yay way to go!

Wer now collecting our docs to be send at the NVC, while waiting for their instruction.. so everyting will be ready beforehand

Hey Everyone...

Got our NVC case number and went and filled out DS- 261. Once completed I went to pay fees and got this: This case is in the process of termination. Fee payments and online forms can no longer be accepted. If you believe you have received this message in error, or to resume processing of the case, please contact the NVC immediately.

So What the hell does this mean??? Should I get worried?? Tried to call and they aren't open yet....hope this is normal somehow and we can pay and move on with sending the AOS package.

• Note: if you're getting an error message ("Please be advised that the case that you have attempted to access is not eligible for further processing by the National Visa Center at this time…" or "This case is in the process of termination. Fee payments and online forms can no longer be accepted…" or "You cannot make online payments for your case at this time. Please contact the NVC if you have questions or need further information."), do NOT panic. This is actually good news! If you just got your case number, then this message means NVC is inputting your case in their system. If you get this message a few days after case number generation, then it's a good possibility that NVC is invoicing your AOS bill. And if this message appears a few days after DS-261 acceptance, then there's a good chance the IV bill is being invoiced.

Thanks! July 16, i think. I believe we could have gotten the approval earlier if not for the RFE. I think they're still expediting petitions with beneficiaries from the Philippines. We're lucky. Hopefully everyone of you will get approvals soon.

We received the NOA2 on 8/20/2014 and never called to get the case number just waited for the email and received the email NVC Welcome Letter (ACL) dated 9/15/2014 with the case number and the IID number with all the instructions on how to proceed. The Form DS-261 was available today which is the first day I had access sense receiving the email, because we were camping and out of range...bummer, but maybe it just gave them time to process it and then it was available when we got home. Now we will wait for the available access to Pay Fees and submit the AOS package. We are a bit slow on this, so we will not be ready to send right away.

Some (those who alread passd the nvc stage) said to call nvc after 10 days of reveiving the NOA2.. they said its a big chance to get the papers on top and get a case number quicker than 3 weeks... so my husband will start to call now and today is the 2nd week after reveiving NOA2.. i hope they will give us case number so we can start our papers already.

PAID the invoice today for the AOS package $120 and waiting for the process time of 2-3 working days to get the final OK to send the AOS package off. Getting it all together now.....

I Heard theres a new rule for CR1.. we have to send the AOS AND IV all in one package.
