Just received an email about approval of I130. We did DCF in Mexico City. There was no A-number on the email. What can I do next? There is the D-260 that is completed online? Don't I need the A-number to submit?

Dont need the a- number. You need the case number the embassy will assign to your case. Time to start calling and emailing till you get the case number, or just wait a few days, it will prolly show up on its own. Once you have the case number, follow the guide for your country, from there, its the same as ir-1/cr-1, with the exception that fees are paid and documents are submitted at the interview, not to nvc.

If I'm not mistaken, the petition for the mother is going to be a while, based on the availability of a visa number, they may have sent it to the us for regular processing. But I know little to nothing on that subject,(still working on the wife, not ready for in laws yet.) so don't take my word for it.
