Expediting an Interview due to Deployment?

Hypothetically speaking.

A Military members has a deployment in January.

The Military member and fiance have an Interview in September.

- It is known that the visa is good for six months to travel to the States.

What are the options?

The best plan sought to be was the fiance would go to the States as soon as possible after the Interview and marry within that time frame (3 months). What are the procedures for the Green Card and how long?

The understanding is that the fiance would be able to go back to her home country until Military member comes back from deployment once the Green Card is obtained. (September to December to make this happen).

Also is an expedited Interview an option? Manila.

Would they be able to help if already at the Interview Stage

They should be able to put in a request or tell you what you need to do. If you have an immi lawyer on base, you can talk to them too.

For the GC , you must file an AOS (adjustment of status). It's a joint petition so you are required to be at any future interview. Basically file and you will get an NOA (comes in under a week), then comes the biometrics (notice will be posted appox. Within 30 days) and you have 2-4 weeks from the day you get the notice till the appointment but some people have attempted an early walk in with the appointment notice. Interview will be appox. 4-6 months from the initial NOA. It was like 10mins long for us and we waited like 45mins in an empty waiting room with one other couple. I swear they watch you while you sit there though!!

UPDATE: Hypothetically speaking

The fiance called the Embassy and they were able to expedite the Interview to about a month earlier. Instead of September, it is August!

WOW! She did all that work . Gives a month extra to prepare
