Today (like I do every day) I checked online to see the status of the case #s. The one for the I-485 has moved to testing and interview. My husband is finishing up school this summer and is still living there 3 days out of the week, but will be moving here (with me) full time at the end of August.

I am concerned about the location of the interview, here would be Dallas, his school address would fall under San Antonio. Do they usually base the interview on the petitioner or applicant's address?

He did biometrics last week, so I am really surprised that it is already in testing/interview period. Maybe it stays in this status for awhile? and I"m wrongly thinking it will move a lot faster than it will? :)

Thanks!

Okay thank you. I got a text notification this morning that our interview has been scheduled on 8/18. He moves here full time on 8/22. I"m hoping this isn't a problem. He's been in school and lives here 4 days out of the week. Was really hoping we would have had time to chance the address and have the interview here instead of in a city 4 hours away, but it is what it is.
