hi! i have sent my n400 on june 20 and i received my receipt on june 26..
the receipt says "Upon receipt of all required record checks, you will be scheduled to appear for an interview at your local uscis field office"..

the thing is, i have renewed my greencard last year of febuary and have taken my biometrics during that time..
will i still be scheduled for biometrics? from my google searching, some people are having the same question and some people answered that a biometrics is valid for 16 months.. is this true?

and also, i know that the website isnt that reliable but my status on the website is im at the intial review and it says that "on july 1, we mailed you an appointment to have your fingerprints taken"... it is now July 8 and i still havnt got that notice their saying...

so do i still have to do a biometrics even if my later biometrics from last year is still valid?
or do i go straight to interview when a notice comes?

thank you very much

Biometrics are only valid for 15 months. If it's been over 15 months since you last had them taken then you will need to have them taken again.
