Just a question, but how will I be notified that I the center recieved my i30, that it was approved, and so forth? I keep reading that people get emails, but there is no form to request an email notification... unless there is and I don't know about it.

After you receive your first paper letter from USCIS, you will have a case number. You can log into the USCIS web site, enter your case number, and it will tell you the status of your case.

The petition is called an I-130.

The G-1145 was the form to request the initial email and text message.

After you get the initial NOA1 and have a case number, you can sign up on the USCIS website to get emails to track your case and be notified by email and/or text message of any changes.
