Manila Airport - Which Immigration line?

We are going back to the Philippines for the first time since getting married and have one quick question about which line to stand in at Immigration. There is one for people with a Philippines passport and a much longer, slower set of lines for all others.

My wife has a Philippines passport and I have a U.S. passport. Can we both go in the same line or do we need to wait in separate lines?

she has green card she can go with you to the us line.

In general yes, they will let you go with your spouse in the Philippine passport line. But this being the Philippines there's no guarantee.

I flew through the "other" line when I went. Took maybe 10 minutes.

If you're trying to get the balikbyan one year stamp, you need to be together, which line, I still don't know, but in theory it would be the Filipino line.

There is, or has been at some point in the past, a seperate line for balikbayan privilege.

I only saw 3 lines the last few times in MNL T1: APEC/ABTC, Filipinos and Foreigners/Visitors.

You guys can go to either the Filipinos or Foreigners queue. It won't be an issue. As mentioned above, you have to be together when going through immigration to get the balikbayan stamp.

Thank you for the discussion and the posts I (US passport holder) was wanting to ask the very same question as OP for same reason, same situation. As always, first did a search for releveant posts and found this one. Thank you VJ members for your continuing help, knowledge and experience. OP: hope you have safe travels to Philippines. All: safe and "speedy" travels wished to you on each of your own visa journeys...

Just did this at NAIA term 1, filipino line, 1 min wait, BB stamp, 9 suitcases through customs nothing to declare lane, 2 taxis for luggage and all is good.
