I also filled out the I-864 affidavit of support. I hope they will accept it at the same time. My hope it will help to expedite the process. Has anyone else tried the same thing?

You didnt fill out a timeline so its impossible to know where you are in the process.

When you say you are dropping off this info does that mean you are filing a DCF case?

It would be a good idea to make sure your situation and relevant questions are clearly stated or the responses you get may be useless.

Not following the accepted procedures at the correct time may lead to confusion by both parties. The timing of the info flow is designed to bring the info together at the right place and time.

the I-864 not adjudicated when the I-130 is adjudicated -

so - IMO - it's a waste of time.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

USICS was not interested in the I-864. They were happy to receive my tax returns for the last 3 years. Because they were filed jointly. My wife has an ITIN. Bangkok USICS were very helpful. With answering numerous questions. specifically about my concerns and past experiences not receiving

our mail. They offered to send correspondence at no charge via registered mail.

Ning I appreciate your concern, however no confusion was created. Since I filed DCF at USICS Bangkok office I thought my intentions were evident.

I don't feel it was a waste of time. I will use the form when the embassy requests it. I am somewhat surprised the USCIS would not send it with the rest rest of my paperwork. They informed me that upon approval, everything I submitted today would be going to the embassy.
