hi all,

we are waiting on our interview after almost 180 days. any ways..

i just thought i'd collect some thoughts.

i came almost 10 years on student/F1 visa. i did not enroll for just one trimester(half of semester).. it was and stupid and ignorant.. lack of knowledge.

but any way after that one trimester i started my classes again and continued in my school , school international office did not say anything .. so i continued... till oneday.. my Internatational told me my old SEVIS expired and i need to cross the border and come back . it was less than 6 months and i was enrolled all along.

so long story short i visisted mexico for couple days and came back and i got a new sevis .. i graduated and life went on..

now F1 visa has D/S .. technically i did not accrue any illegal presence but .. will this effect my AOS interview..

if it comes up , i will just tell them like it is... what u guys think..

my wife is USC. after i re entered with new sevis .. chnaged to h1b to work . now my wife

petitioned for my AOS to permenant resident..

Happy. Happy. Joy. Joy.

You do not have a problem being out of status. Being out of status is not a problem for the spouse of a USC who entered the US legally.

Good luck with everything.
