Alien Registration Number Changed.

Hi All, Can I get some respond please?

I just check my status update online and it says.

On May 16, 2014 your Alien Registration Number was changed relating to your I 130, Immigration Petition for Relative, Finance or Orphan.

What does this mean????

Also to add there was 2 I130 file .

One for spouse with a PD of April 24,2014

One for Step-child with a PD date of May 13, 2014

Both status says the same online that Alien Registration Number was changed.

U will approved soon Thats what happen with me after Get This update my case approved within 2 or 3 days.good luck.

Basically it means they have looked at/done something with the file. A lot of times that means you will be approved soon.

For me, the petition was approved a long time after that update, but I have seen LOTS of people who are approved shortly after that update.

Just mean they've touched your case. I got that in April and maybe a month or so later I got a response.

All it means is that an A# was assigned to the case. Nothing more, nothing less. Everyone ends up with an A#.
