Greetings, Fellow TSC May filers! I thought we could do with a separate thread as our misery is one of its kind; and let's face it, all that CSC filer jubilation is making our lot even more miserable! Heigh ho. But at least we can commiserate here, and sympathise, and support...and hopefully start sharing our joy sooner than later. So post away!

Hi, im brand new to this, although i have been reading everyone's posts with interest. We just sent ours off on 20th of this month and am waiting to hear whether they've received it....with the holiday this weekend i know it will delay any communication back from them - so am not sure which centre is going to be dealing with our case yet. My aim is to hopefully be able to move at Christmas. By the sound of it this may be possible...keeping all my fingers and toes crossed. Im okay right now but i know there are going to be times in the coming months when my attitude may not be quite so genial....i apologise in advance for any steam blowing i may do....i have to say that for those of us who aren't 100% certain of what we're doing, this site is invaluable. Well, im sure we'll end up communicating, commiserating or celebrating at some point in the coming months whilst waiting for the wheels to move....(hopefully picking up speed and momentum). Good luck to you...

Welcome musical. Best to come in with an open mind and a great deal of patience rather than assuming you will be on edge every day :). By the way, you only mailed your petition to the Texas lockbox so you are not at the Texas Service Center as you note in your timeline. Please be aware of this when you receive NOA1 stating you were forwarded to the CSC and not transferred. Thanks and best of luck on your journey.

Good luck to you. I filed last month and I got CSC

Would you mind updating your profile timeline to reflect CSC please? Thanks and good luck.

Thank you all for your very warm welcome. I do hope you are correct and that our petition is routed to CSC, however, if not, I will do my best to remain patient. I see this as the beginning of the rest of my life so am okay if it takes 3, r, 5, 8 months (although the least time the better!). I will update my timeline as soon a I hear anything...and will try my best to remain open minded ?

My boy and I sent in our application on the 19 and are waiting to receive our electronic and hard cope NOA1. This site is invaluable and I'm happy to be part of a community of people going through a similar situation. :) Good luck all!

Is there ANYTHING we can do though, to get them to address the discrepancy between CSC and TSC in their processing times? Looking at all these CSC filers get processed in weeks is really disheartening :( -- Why can't USCIS be even slightly fair? Surely, they must know about this horrible discrepancy??

What's even worse is to see some of them (CSC filers) whine about CSC not moving fast enough to approve them...after 20 days  or how they suffered so terribly waiting 23 days for their approval.

To answer your question, no, there is nothing we can do other than write our representatives and complain. If they receive enough complaints, it may raise some awareness and get the disparity addressed but I would not hold your breath...unless you really like the color blue :)

They may know about it, but they will still go home at 17.00 every day and not lose any sleep over it.

You may feel even more elated when you realize you were actually sent to CSC and not TSC :). I am guessing as that is where every other Illinois petition I have seen has been sent. You may want to confirm and update your timeline. If your file number begins with a WAC, you are at CSC. If you are lucky, that is where you are. Good luck on your journey. :)

Hoping against hope here: BUT, I remember seeing somebody on some thread (I frequent so many!!) who thought she was at TSC and then got sent her NOA from CSC. Is that something that happens often?? I mean, my email already says mine was routed to TSC and my receipt number starts with SRC. I know this means TSC. I'm just being delusional, ain't I?? :((
