Soooo excited! NOA1 received! ???

It does get worse. But it should plateau. Like I check my status on USCIS.gov once per day but I don't expect to see any changes. I don't obsess over the process. I keep myself very busy going to gym 3-5 times per week & playing video games. This allows time to fly without me paying attention to it. My Fiancee in Germany also keeps herself super busy. My trip to Germany in July also is a good diversion for us both.

My recommendation to everyone at TSC is not to be patient, because that's what everyone on here says & I don't think you can just learn to be patient. But you can learn not to obsess over the process & keep yourself busy. Tie up loose ends in your life, especially financial ones. Both the USC & beneficiary should save money. It's money you can no doubt use when you're finally united.

U see, I think the difference from the way u guys see it and the way I see it, is that I'm no expecting anything!! I have sent my application and I'm ok with waiting.... I have soooo much to do that for now the longer the better!! I have to plan a wedding, I'm a single mom, new job, etc! I'm actually happy it was NOT sent to CSC!! Because that will buy me time to plan for what I want and to prepare my " life" for him to be part of it and be a more smooth transition for him, my girls and me. So waiting does not bother me!! ( now don't get me wrong I'm talkin no more than a year or 18months) more than that then I'm sure I will be too much for me.

Don't really worry about what other people say , cuz everyone is different and everyone have different process , i heard a lot that i'm gonna get my NOA2 in 8-14 months and i received it withing 4 months so you should be positive keep up your hope like your doing now , and you'l hear what's good (God willing) ; best luck for you both and have a good day

You see, I couldn't just uproot myself from my country, and had to settle my properties and financials, etc. I looked at my case transfer and RFE as blessings in disguise, which took almost 8 months, then another 2 months for my medical, interview, etc. I guess it's not the same for most people, but worked for me nonetheless.

Guess what?! I felt the same way, although I was the beneficiary. Last year (and I read some before that), most I-129fs are normally waiting between 5-7 months or even more. We were really at a lost and I haven't joined VJ then yet until we received our NOA2. We were both so busy at work that my then fiance and I didn't really watch out for updates everyday. You see, I couldn't just uproot myself from my country, and had to settle my properties and financials, etc. I looked at my case transfer and RFE as blessings in disguise, which took almost 8 months, then another 2 months for my medical, interview, etc. I guess it's not the same for most people, but worked for me nonetheless.

It is very exciting to know that has finally started! I personally took 2 months putting everything together and it was ducha relief to put it in the mail!

Should I be concerned that i did not receive the hard copy notification?

When did u filed? I received my hard copy yesterday... But the text and email was received on 5/22... I filed 5/15

Well at least you can see your case online!! ? I still can't! Give them a few more days if still nothing give them a call and see if they can send you a duplicate. I will print the email and keep it for my records in case they can't send a duplicate.
