hey im stuck in the first page when it asks to enter name in native alphabet. our citizenship cards have different scripts "sanskrit scripts/alphabets" and we use this in Nepal. but my passport is in english. Should i use the other scripts? for example "निमा लामा"? why would they need this anyways?

Just the name must be put in with native alphabet, the rest can be on normal latin characters that will be just fine.
