Hello everybody!

I am a 2015 DV Lottery winner. I know that the ds-260 form will be available from Monday, but I just googled this form and I saw that there could be a question regarding to "Petitioner Information". Can somebody give me an answer, what does it mean, who will be the petitioner?

Thank you in advance!

You as the winner put "self". If you have any derivatives who have to fill in the form they will put you.

I'd be interested actually if you can tell us after Monday if they leave that question up for DV winners - DV being one of a very few immigrant categories which don't require a petitioner.

Thank you very much for the answer, after Monday I will be back with the information. I would like to ask another question, and I'm not sure if I can ask it here, or I have to open a new topic. There is a question for "Present address" and for Previous addresses as well. Now (present address) I live in Denmark, but only till end of June (from January). But I came from Romania, and I am living with my parents there, so after June, I will be there, at my Romanian address. Can I put my "Present Address" the Romanian one, and for the Previous address the Danish one, mentioning that I was here only from January to June.

Fill it in so it is correct at the time when you submit it. You can update the addresses as necessary at your interview. There should be a separate question asking you which consulate you want to interview at, and you can list Romania there as you would expect to be back there by the time of interview.

Okay. What do you mean by updating the addresses at my interview? I can modify my address anytime? Or I have to say to the officer, that my current address was changed by the time?

When you go to the interview, just mention to the interviewing officer that your address has changed since you sent in the form. He might ask anyway as you will be interviewing in Romania.
