i-134 Bank statement

Timeline

The instructions for the i-134 states we need a “statement” from the officer of the bank. They need the date my account opened and present balance. I was able to get both of those from my bank already. What I couldn’t get that was asked for in the instructions was the total amount deposited in the past year. The officer of the bank told me they do this all the time and don’t to worry about it.

I just really want to be sure…

I am sure it will be fine. A letter from the bank is generally not even needed, if you are not needing to use assets to meet the requirement. The typical supporting evidence for an I-134 is most recent tax transcript, letter from employer and/or recent pay stubs.
