Hi all,

So I finally have my interview on thursday and want to triple check I have everything needed so I can get my travel bag together and relax LOL.

Interview letter

Visa payment confirmation

DS160 confirmation

Passport

4 passport sized photos (2 US and 2 UK, just had them leftover from other forms so will take all just in case)

Full Birth Certificate

Police Certificate

Fiance's divorce decree

i134 from fiancé + last tax transcript

Fiances dad is co-sponsoring so another i134 + 6months paystubs, letter from employer stating salary and job prospects.

Couple of recent photos of the 2 of us

Im assuming all medical stuff has been sent straight from Knighstbridge Doctors including the vaccinations that I had there.

Can anyone think of anything else I might need, more recent evidence of relationship, anything else from co sponsor? Ive seen some people say that they took a copy of fiance's/co-sponsors passport- is this really necessary?

Thanks y'all (fiancé is from Texas lol)

Looks good. We had all that and old passport *but were not asked for*

We got approved today.

If your NOA 2 expiration date as passed you'll need a new Fiance letter of intent notarized, but you've probably already thought of that and didn't need it :)

Well I didn't co-sponser.

I sent fiancee

Letter from employer
Letter from bank
4 years worth of IRS tax returns
5 pay stub scans
bank account statements

W2s
etc

And all they wanted was letter from bank and letter from employer. So basically I sent her to much evidence ha ha.

If it puts your mind at rest, we also used a co-sponsor last Thursday.

Our co-sponsor (my father) has only assets so we didn't have a letter from employer, they wouldn't take any other evidence from us (we had lots of bank statements and what not to prove his assets). They ended up only taking the i134 with no evidence. It didn't seem to matter though, they didn't question it or bring it up at any point. We were approved with no issues.

Fiancé I-134--doesn't really matter about proof of not having enough income because you have another sponsor.

Other sponsor--

You will not need a tax return, unless they are self-employed.

You will not need proof of their citizenship. That is required with the I -864 that spouse visa's use. If you use a joint sponsor later for your AOS, then they will prove citizenship with the I-864 submitted on your behalf.

Interview list additions

Full Birth Certificate + photocopy

Police Certificate + photocopy

Fiance's divorce decree + photocopy

2 US size passport photos. Why clutter and confuse the document checker with additional UK size? Leave those at home.

That's not an interview document. All the documentation at a K1 interview (birth, divorce, police, name changes, military) is about the British person. The only thing a USC provides is proof of support. Your fiancé proved she was divorced in her petition to USCIS and the photocopy is still in the file. Later down the line, 3-4 yrs, if you apply for citizenship based on marriage, you each will provide proof of any previous marriages ending. Some documentation just keeps repeating.
