Americanlife: theres no way you can verify if a letter is being mailed or not, only if the USCIS officer confirm if it was actually mailed or not, you should try call them and confirm first.

Vendar: When did you mail your AOS, can you update your timeline? Thanks

I am just here chilling and waiting till something comes up, not doing anything sucks....no work, school....just tv...tv and tv..

Lol! My life: wake up, Tv, PC, sleep, eat aaaaand repeat! I go stir crazy sometimes. I need friends xD and ... a LIFE T_T It get lonely and boring. SOmetimes I feel I have no reason to even get out of bed until husband is back from work! I need motivation in my life ! xD

wow this forum exploded with new posts the last couple of days! yay! for me it's been a week today since my AOS changed to "testing and interview" I was hoping to get another notification today saying that my interview letter has been sent in the mail but nothing so far. I wonder why they moved applications to the this stage if the letter will take much longer to arrive. I know I sound a bit impatient but being in this sorta "safe" stage ( no RFE for I-485) gives some false hopes that interview is next and soon. Oh well, at least things are moving along fine. :star:

Grats! So happy for you ^_^

-------

I really do think we should all be heading towards the Testing and Interview phase here in the next 2 weeks? :D Maybe I'm beeing too optimistic! At least we know that by the end of the month we will have our interview letters! :D

By the way... anyone know of a good way to find a GP? My husband is newish to this city and doesn't have one. We tried goggling it but both of the ones we called are not taking new patients. x_X Ideas?

IDK what else to say... xD I never know what to say. I'll just keep drinking my coffee U_U ;D

Mari you're always so cheerful and happy it's awesome!! Best thing to do is stay positive ^.^

Lucky for me my husband works at home xD and most of his family are nearby! I haven't made any friends yet (aside from my husbands friends) but I was thinking about volunteering at the animal shelter maybe, since I'm sure I can make friends there and also help the animals!! :D

Hahaha ^_^ Thank you

I honestly don't know what's wrong with me though... I LOVE crafting and I have loads of things I could do... Like finish our wedding scrapbook, or organize my drawers... but I just can't seem to get myself to do it. Like I said I have no motivation. xD Right now I feel like I have no purpose (YES as cheesy as it sounds... xD Not at all from Avenue Q if any of you have seen that play) I feel lazy and meh ... so I don't know about the cheerful part xD! But oh well... I guess I am still adjusting 0_o!

You are so lucky to have people close... Like I mentioned my husband is new to this city and most of his coworkers live 1h drive or more away, and his family is mostly in CA. So.. it's just US :P

0_o ... I'm getting creeped out xD the microwave is making weird noises .. and NO I am not heating anything 0_o! Lawl

Did you send it with a tracking number? If so, and it's been a while since it says delivered, you should probably call them to see what's going on. I'm guessing they're just being very slow updating the website

I think they only update it if they're changing it to testing and interview, or if they're sending an RFE ^^

Listen when you call the uscis and you get to speak with someone. Directly ask to speak with a level 2 rep because level 1 rep doesnt have the authority to look into your cases that a level 2 has. Simply tell them that they cannot help you because what they are reading from is what the website shows( some would insist they can but dont let them). Mostly all the level 2 reps says that the website isnt reliable and it updates when it wants too. I mean this process isnt free for us and we have every right to call and be transferred when we ask to. I suggest you call back because if you missed the biometric appointment your AOS would be denied.

Thanks for these words; would call again on Monday since tomorrow is a holiday.
