Packet 3 shrunk?

Hi all,

My fiancee finally received her Packet 3 from the Taiwan "consulate" yesterday for her K-1 visa. She looked through it and it seems a little lighter than expected. It contained:

- Simple instructions for photos, passport and fees

- Previously filled out and now stamped I-129F

- A blank I-134

- Instructions for medical exam

My questions are:

- Is a police report not required?

- What are the instructions to schedule the interview?

- Are there other forms that she needs to fill out?

Did you read through the instructions? Usually that will contain what is required for your packet and how to schedule the interview.

The packet contained:

- A cover letter directing you to follow the instructions closely

- Instructions and a list of hospitals to go to for medical exam

- Required documents for K-1 (Passport, DS-160 confirmation page, where to submit fee, all prior passports)

- Stamped I-129F

- Blank I-134

Nothing else. I guess I have to call the consulate to double check...

I have noticed that a lot of the embassy information is outdated on here. For example: I have read through the Irish information, and there are documents listed still that are outdated. If that's what you were going by, there's a decent chance it's incorrect. I'd respectfully suggest that you take a moment to update your embassy's information on here. I can't wait to do that for Ireland!
