Hi Guys,

So we filed CR2 for my son Im already here in the US, we filed january 2014.

Now we paid the IV application fee but its still in process status.

My question is. for the civil documents that we need to send to NVC will it be my civil documents? or my sons civil documents?

My USC husband filed the petition since im not yet a citizen.

No. They'll just ask you to send the civil documents, so you have to search for the docs. that they possibly need.

Hi Guys,

- Son's original NSO birth certificate

- photocopy of Son's passport (bio page)

- Son's visa photos (3 pcs)

I'm not sure if you married in the Philippines or in the US. If in the Phils, submit original NSO marriage certificate. If in the US, submit certified copy of your marriage certificate.

Don't forget to include the IV cover sheet.

You'll just have to wait for it. NVC will not accept photocopy of BC.

ha? I ordered it online but I will ask my aunt to send a BC here in the US coz it will be faster than the one i ordered.

The other poster meant you should make photocopies of the civil docs. Mail the photocopies together with the original docs to NVC.
