Wife and daughter had interview today and NVC specifically said my wife and daughter original birth certificate, and our marriage license had been forward to the embassy. US consulate in ho chi minh said they dont have it so what do i do now? Im wandering cuz we IR2 so will they send it home with my wife and child visa? They pass the interview by the way. Thanks VJ members for all your help we are greatful.

Don't count on getting them back. Just have them order new certified copies of those documents, as you are likely to need them at some point.

Same advice. Have it mailed to a relative who can forward it to you. I get that it's a problem. It's up to you to solve it. Don't count on the Consulate or anybody else to solve it for you, even if they DID cause it.
