Hi, my wife and I are scheduled for a GC interview in a few weeks and we're wondering if they allow you to bring photos on our ipad or iphones. We only have a few paper pictures of us and most of the pictures we took are on our smartphones. Do we need to print these out or do they allow us to just show these on our phones or ipad? I'm not sure if different centers have different standards but we'll be doing the interview in the Philadelphia center.

Also, although I'm a US citizen now I'm myself an immigrant so I don't have a birth certificate in the US. Is a family register document showing my family relations from my home country sufficient as a birth certificate document?

Thanks for all the helps.

Hi & congrats on you interview, it's a no for the ipad & phones as you cannot take any electronic devices in to the place apparently. As for your birth certificate do you still have yours from you home country.

Hello.

Family register could be a substitute of birth certificate. So all you need is original family register from your birth country and English translation of the form(Otherwise,USCIS officers never be able to understand what was written.)

I assume we are not allowed to bring any devices into USCIS.

Good luck on your interview!! :dancing:
