HI EVERYBODY I HAVE A QUESTION ON APRIL 9 MY HUSBAND GOT ACCEPTED FOR HIS REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE I-485 BUT HE HASNT GOTTEN APPROVED FOR THE TRAVEL PERMIT

BUT ALREADY GOT APPROVED FOR HIS EMPLOYMENT AND NOW HIS PERMANENT RESIDENCE.

DOES IT MATTER IF HE RECIEVES IT OR NOT OR DOES HE NEED TO GET HIS TRAVEL PERMIT TO EXIT TO MEXICO AND COME BACK?

Hi and congratulations, since your husband has been approved for his green card he will no longer need his advance parole travel document when it arrives. However if he did not get his passport stamped when he was approved he will need to wait until he receives his green card before he travels

Congrats again

The green card is used for travel and re-entry to the US, and also permits you to work in the US, since you are a legal permanent resident now. He received his EAD card before the green card was approved? Does it state "Serves as I-512 Advance Parole". towards the bottom of it? They issue the EAD and AP in a combo card. He may have already had the AP. However, once he is approved for the green card, the EAD/AP are no longer valid or needed. http://www.uscis.gov/news/questions-and-answers/uscis-issue-employment-authorization-and-advance-parole-card-adjustment-status-applicants-questions-and-answers
