For boxes that are not applicable to us, Should we leave it blank or put none?

We read it in the instruction that we should leave it blank but we read it here in vj that we should not leave blanks but instead put 'none'.

What's the right to do?

I came across that same dilemma when I was filling out my forms. I opted to go with the instructions on the form. So I left them blank. However, I can't tell you for sure if that method was effective as I haven't gotten my NOA2 yet. But it seemed to make more sense to follow the instructions on the sheet.

The rules changed on the forms recently. It used to be they wanted none or NA written to make sure you looked at the question. Now they just want it blank. If they're switching to automated character recognition data entry, blank would likely be easier on their systems.

I left mine blank. No NOA2 yet though, so I have no clue whether that was truly OK. That said, it's only been 1 month since NOA1. Since I'm in TSC, I suppose I'm only about 20% done waiting on NOA2.

For my AOS forms which I just submitted a month ago, I still used NONE and N/A. I am looking for an actual G-325A instructions just now, but couldn't find any that says otherwise.

Depends on the form.

For the G-325A it doesn't state to leave them blank, if you read the G-325A itself, it states to write NONE for certain boxes, for other boxes like the "A" number which you most likely don't have leave it blank. (this is what we did and had zero issues)

For the I-129F it states to leave them blank.
