Hey everyone.

I sent my AOS package in december 06, my question is, do they go through the entire AOS package and then determine what is missing and send out the RFE, because I recived an RFE last week asking for some other stuff in relation to the Affidavit of Support. I got that done and sent it off today. :D If I was missing anything else, would they have asked for it all at the same time? or will they send out an RFE for each thing missing?

I hope that they go through the AOS package and send out 1 RFE for all missing info.

As far as I know, they check everything and send just one RFE. But I've heard of people getting more than one RFE.

Maybe they check for all initial paperwork at MSC (packet complete), then when rec'd at the service center the person reviewing it may request an RFE if something is questionable?

I got a touch today on my AOS, and the status update is:

Response to request for evidence received, and case processing has resumed.

Does that mean they are satisfied?

I think so Dev, but let's get it further verified. Is that all the message says? The message I have seen quoted on VJ was longer in verbage.............

Well, the rest is the blahblah stuff:

Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: Response to request for evidence received, and case processing has resumed.

On January 3, 2007, we received your response to our request for evidence. We will notify you by mail when we make a decision or if we need something from you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service. You should expect to receive a written decision or written update within 60 days of the date we received your response unless fingerprint processing or an interview are standard parts of case processing and have not yet been completed, in which case you can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done. This case is at our MISSOURI SERVICE CENTER location.
