We sent our I-130 petition with the address A for my husband (USC) and the address B for me (in my home country).

The petition got approved and now we send the AOS package, but we are living in another address © here in US, so I have filled all forms with the address C.

I went to change my address on the USCIS page, as beneficiary, and here is the email I received:

"The status of this service request is:

You or your representative contacted USCIS to notify us of your change of address. Below is a summary of what we found and how the issue has been or may be resolved.

Immigration and Naturalization law prohibits this office from responding to an inquiry submitted by anyone other than the petitioner/applicant. We will be happy to address the status of this case if such a request is submitted by the petitioner/applicant.

Title 8, Code of Federal Regulations, Part 103.2(a)(3) states, in pertinent part:

(3) A beneficiary of a petition is not a recognized party in such a proceeding. An application or petition presented in person by someone who is not the applicant or petitioner, or his or her representative as defined in this paragraph, shall be treated as if received through the mail, and the person advised that the applicant or petitioner, and his or her representative, will be notified of the decision.

We hope this information is helpful to you.

1 - So, do I need to fill the AR with my husband name, who is the applicant? and then, in the questions below, fill with my informations (citizenship, status in the US, date of last entry, etc)? Do I really need to send this form if the case is not pending any more (it has been approved)?

On the question "Is this change of address for an application or petition currently in progress?" I should answer yes or no? I answered yes because I have a case #, and this was the only difference if the answer was no.

Should I send another form on the USCIS webpage?

Why did you not do a concurrent filing?

I originally had I consular process. While visiting our family here in US this year, my husband got a job offer and we decided to stay and apply for AOS. I just called USCIS regarding this address issue and the lady attested that I don't need to change my address if my petition is already approved. She said they are going to use the new address that I fill on the AOS forms.
