Am I suppose to bring my step-daughter to the interview?

Hi, I am petitioning for my husband and my 5 years old step-daughter. I would like to know if when we get schedule for the interview she will have to come with us? Do they interview little kids? how does this work? Please help because I am really confuse...

Minors kids ages assuming like 9 year of ages below mostly CO will not pay attention at those ages for questioning something,typically the parents(beneficiary) or a guardian who accompany them mostly likely were asked about his/her information,if this child is the applicant on your behalf which mean your step daughter

must need to come over with you, even if you do Have her documents on the interview

They might still look for your step daughter

The minor child should have her own fees paid for at the NVC and she will need her own interview but if the cases are properly joined up at the NVC, they will be on the same day. Yes she will need to be there. No, they likely will not ask her any hard questions (more like, are you wanting to move to the USA?)

Thank you all for your answers. My concern was because of the intimate questions that they sometimes ask. I would not want her to hear me telling the CO when was the last time I was intimate with her dad if he asks.

You may want to inquire with others who have through the DR if you can have someone else there to watch your child while you interview. I know your spouse is SUPPOSED to be there for the DR interview. It's pretty much a requirement for your country.
