Hello everyone! My wife came to the US with a K1 visa. At the time of the Medical, which was done in Mexico, vaccines were not required and were skipped. She had her Medical done in January of this year, only a few months ago. Now that we are married, and are starting our AOS package, we are having issues with vaccines. I have called several civil surgeons in my area and I have explained that the only thing we need is the vaccine transcription. Every civil surgeon that I have called have told me that she has to have the WHOLE ENTIRE exam done again and I will have to pay $300.00. I let them know that she had exam done just a few months ago in Mexico, and according to USCIS she does not need ENTIRE exam done again if done within a year of filing AOS. They turn me down, and simply say, "we do not do vaccinations only, she'll need entire exam and it'll cost you $300!" I have called numerous civil surgeons, some don't have a clue as far as what I'm talking about, and the rest just want $$$$. I am starting to feel that we have no choice and she'll have to have the entire exam done again. Has anyone else had this experince going from K1 to AOS? Any help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

In the AOS from K-1 visa forum, you will find a whole thread called 'Civil Surgeons who don't rip you off' with listings of CSs who know about the vaccine only.

That forum has a lot more information too for AOS. This is the K-1 forum. Good luck.
