Hello,

I am organizing our paperwork for our initial petition for the K-1 visa and I have a question in regards to bank statements. We are submitting our bank statements showing that we both made purchases from our accounts in the same place at the same time as part of our proof of having met in person. I have 2 questions about this: 1) do I need to have the bank statements translated? 2) do I need to send the entire bank statement or just the relevant pages?

Thank you!

Do not worry about "same place same time." Just show that one person was in the other person's country at some point. One set of statements should suffice.

Yes, the bank statement needs to be translated if you are using a foreign one.

If you fill in your profile people would help you better. Good luck.

AOS for my husband
