problem in entering my k2 last name

My k2 & I have different lastname, K2 using her father last name even in her passport & me my single name ( Im annulled), When Im creating an actt. for setting an interview appt. I added her ,I input all her info written in her passport but when im trying to save it & tried many times it doesnt save, line words popped up saying" enter your last name as in appear in your passport.So I tried again, but this time I put my last name as her last name instead her father last name, it successfully accepted. On my confirmation letter it shows we have same last name ,totally diffrent from her
passport.

ex.

k2 last name on passport :garcia
K1 last name: gregorio
In our confirmation letter we both gregorio.

Is this gonna be a problem?thank you

You may want to contact the embassy on this one. I don't see it as a big issue and I think it can be addressed easily during the interview. Just the same give the embassy a call plus send them an email.
