AUSTRALIAN WANTING TO MOVE TO THE US

Hi guys, I am wondering how difficult it would be to get a green card to work in, preferably Texas.

I live in Australia, the sort of work I am looking at is in the Engineering field, maybe a power plant operator or similar. I am going to get an Associate in Engineering Degree, would this be enough to get a green card, as the job doesn't actually require a degree, but to get a green card you do.

I would be 21 by the time I finish the degree.

How difficult would it be to get sponsorship, should I just look up jobs that support green cards/ foreign workers.

Are you able to enter in different forms, such as one for work, another for marriage and the other a lottery if they all apply or can you just enter 1?

I appreciate your help.

Look up the requirements for an E3. Specially made for Aussies.

Generally speaking you need the degree and the job needs a degree.

Or equivalent work experience, I've had both L1-B and E3 visas in the past without a college degree, however being so young you wouldn't have the 12 years experience required for that.
