Our interview was last Monday. Our status has not changed online yet. So I should expect my card on Monday or so?

Well, usually, from what I have seen here, but not in every case, you get the welcome letter, then later that day you get the email/text saying your card was picked up by USPS. My interview was on Wednesday, got letter on Monday and card on Tuesday. Someone else's interview was on Monday, got the letter on Friday and received the card on Monday. But like I said, every case is different, I was not approved on the spot but they made the decision on the same day, whereas I've seen most other applicants be approved on the spot.

I think you should be getting it soon!!! :)

May 9th, 2014: Received hard copy of scheduled interview for June 18th at 1:15pm in El Paso. (Day 52)

May 27th, 2014: Received email/text stating EAD was in production. (Day 70).

May 30th, 2014: ail/text stating EAD was mailed via USPS 2 day priority mail scheduled for delivery June 2nd. (Day 73).

May 31th, 2014: EAD delivered @ 8:42 am. (Day 74) :wow:

June 18th, 2014: Applied for a SSN.

June 18th, 2014: Applied for a State ID.

June 18th, 2014: Interview Day! (Day 92) Did not get approval on spot but officer said the decision would be made that same day. :clock:

I just got a second Welcome to the USA letter ?? dated 4 days after the first! Weird... Hope I don't get a second green card!!!

Maybe they want to make you feel REALLY REALLY welcome in this country lol We only got the I-485 & I-130 letter approvals (welcome letter). Now I don't feel special anymore ;):P

Maybe they want to make you feel REALLY REALLY welcome in this country lol We only got the I-485 & I-130 letter approvals (welcome letter). Now I don't feel special anymore ;):P

Any one got info for me please? I scheduled an infopass appointment but my computer acted up while trying to print the letter. Now I got a copy of the letter without the PIN displayed. Will they allow me in with this edition of the letter?

Means you may not have to go through an interview in order to get approved for a green card, As to how long it will take to get approved, I supposed it would vary on which office handles it. Letter says it may take up to 6 months, but with these things you never know. When we filed, we anticipated for the whole process to take between 6-9 months but it only took us 3 months.

Thanks buddy. I did call USCIS earlier today and was assured I could come with the letter I got with me, which is without a PIN. According to them, the purpose of the PIN is for infopass appointment cancellation, so I'm good on that.

I think i was the only 1 on this forum with 2 interviews.

It was really intense!!! (FEB FILERS)

The 1st interview we did together and lasted for 30 min

The 2nd interview i did alone for 2 hrs and wife did for 5 min.

I had to flip situations around because the interviewer was very well experience and know how to do her job very well.

At beginning she said, "I know you got married for the 'Greencard'. I just, 'Laugheddd loudly, and said, here we go, USCIS at its best'... loll - Guess what, she started laughing too.

Same situation all the way, i never got angry even for a second.

I always complemented her job.

In fact, I even said "you should get a mac, they are much faster, tell the govt"... She had strawberrys next to her "I asked her to have some and not beat me down".. etc

These guys are looking at the confidence levels! - The MORAL OF THE STORY is THE TRUTH!!! - You can only be confident when you are true.

But my truth was a little sketchy, but the truth

Hi All,

I just got back to our residence and was able to check the mail to find out hard copy interview notice. Along with the notice, I also found an insert related to arrests and to bring documents if you were ever arrested - same as those in the I-485 instructions and looked like a standard insert.

I'm just curious though - if the insert is standard and everyone receives it with their interview notice. For those that have received their interview letters already - did you get the same additional letter?

I'm curious as I have no criminal record (in fact did my own FBI background check to verify), but do routinely get "randomly" selected for extra screening at airports, given I have a common name. So wondering if USCIS found some "hits" on my name - and the insert is their way of telling me....or I could just be paranoid...haha!

Anyway - if anyway that's received their letters could chime in, it would be helpful.
