Hi everyone,

You have been a great resource so far for everything AOS.

My question is related to the interview documentation. I received the appointment by mail yesterday and it has a check list full of documents that I already sent...from Marriage Certificate, to birth certificate, taxes, etc.

Do I need to bring yet another copy or do they have my package whenever we talk to the officer? I'm saying this because I could safe the money of requesting yet another Marriage Certificate and the cost of shipping a birth certificate overseas.

Also, they ask for wedding pictures, taxes documents, etc that we already shipped.

Can you advice? I have a month, so I think I can put together a solid package.

Greatly appreciated.

I had my AOS interview on 4th March and I brought EVEYTHING they requested on the check list and more besides (I always think its better to be over prepared than under prepared). I also photocopied all the document requested on the list and brought a "copy file" with me incase they wanted anything to add to their file. They interview was a breeze and I was out of there in 5 minutes. ( I received my green-card today in the mail). Good luck and be as prepared as possible.

Better to be overprepared than underprepared. Bring the whole copy of what you sent in (plus some extra if you have). That's how we did it. Approved right on the spot after 5 minutes of looking at each other. Good luck!
