Hello Everyone.

I am sorry if this topic have been covered before but i searched with not much information.

I am concern if this will raise any red flag on the DS-260

I am a US citizen and my wife will be coming to the US in about 3 months. I am living in California but my wife will be staying with my parents in Illinois when she comes, will the CO question/concern why we will live in different addresses, does this raise any red flags? i mean everyone's situation is different. The green card will be mail to my parents address as well in IL since we intend to live with them and i will move back with my parents by the end of summer.

OR

Is it better to use my CA address? when knowing i will be moving back very shortly?

thanks,

If you're intending to live with them then put the IL address if your wife will not be living in California. Also she should have an explanation of why she won't be living with her husband right away if asked that at the interview.
