I have been reading on NVC official website about documents need to submit and they are saying that it is fine to submit just a copies of the documents as long as i can bring them on the day of the interview, but i have been reading threads in here that NVC wants the original or certified copy, so which is true? im confused please help.........

Original or certified copies for the NVC. States that on their website. They send the documents to the embassy or consulate for the interview. If you also send a photocopy you'll get your documents back ;)
