Customer Service Center is a JOKE!!

As some of you may know I have been trying to get my husbands name corrected since January 1, 2014. I don't have the energy to go into all the detail again, but I was given conflicting information every single time I called. There is no such thing as asking the same question to several CSRs and getting the same answer. I asked to be transferred to a Tier 2 twice. The first time I held the phone for over 2 hrs and no one answered. The second time the wait time was going to also be 2 hrs but I didn't bother with holding. What was the use!? Anyway, I asked one of the reps do they check service requests before issuing the Employment Authorization Card and his answer to me was a confident and reassuring yes. WRONG!! Got my husbands card today and no correction was ever made. I think if our interview wasn't around the corner I'd scream.

Why do they even have a call center!? Why do they encourage people to call!? I have never in my life contacted a call center where ALL the reps seem to be totally clueless and will blatantly give you a wrong answer. AND THIS IS THE GOVERNMENT FOR CRYING OUT LOUD! The center need to be abolished because it is completely worthless ranting33va.gif.

Is this something easily fixed at the interview? I don't need anymore drama. I did my part when the NOA letter said to contact the call center if any changes need to be made. It's not my fault the people aren't trained.
