for F4 category, movement will be anywhere between 45 to 90 days per month...not less than this, not more than this for sure... (if obama really implements this change as his executive action)

counting each individual family member against the overall cap, the government could instead only count the head of a family — and not siblings, spouses, or children.

This Obama can do on his own without the help of congress through his executive orders...

If this happens then movement will be 1 year ???

You guys are so naive. Why would obama gives green card to F3 and F4?

This is political move for Millions of Illegal here in USA.

Just keep dreaming.

Even USCIS union oppose it

"A union that represents thousands of federal immigration officers is raising alarm after the U.S. government ordered supplies to create millions of blank work permits and green cards, touching off speculation that the Obama administration may be preparing executive action on immigration."

"Solicitations of this nature are frequent practice for USCIS contracts and allow the Agency to be prepared for fluctuations in the number of immigration applications received, which can arise for a number of reasons," spokesman Christopher S. Bentley said in a statement. "For this particular solicitation, USCIS analyzed, during the spring of 2013, the pending comprehensive immigration reform bill passed by the U.S. Senate to determine the surge capacity needed. This estimate had nothing to do with immigration relief actions planned by the president."

And All the executive decisions by Obama has made while in office will simply be resended by the GOP president in 2016 and then we will have retrogression

I don't like the idea.

What Obama Can Do

Fortunately, there are certain areas of immigration reform that can be accomplished by the Executive Branch.

President Obama, who has deported more persons in the past 6 years than any President in history, over 2,000,000, knows that this, in itself, is not a solution to the overall problem. Yes, it is important to deport criminals and secure our borders, but this approach has its limits.

Two years ago, President Obama started the DACA program which has resulted inwork cards for almost 600,000 young persons who were brought to the U.S. by their parents. I counsel these young people at UCLA, and it is wonderful to see them graduate from college and obtain professional jobs instead of having to hide in the shadows. This is an enormous plus for our economy.

Hopefully, the President will extend this program to their parents and to others who have resided in the U.S. for long periods of time, pay their taxes and have no criminal record.

But the President’s program should do much more than simply expand DACA.

At a minimum, he should change the way employment-based and family-basedlegal immigrants are admitted to our country. As with the H-1B program, only the principals should be counted toward the overall and per-country quotas.

With this small change, which is clearly within the authority of the Executive Branch of government, waiting lines for green cards for professionals and skilled workers as well as close relatives of U.S. citizens and green card holders would be substantially reduced.

We look forward to the President announcing these and other immigration reforms before the end of this year.
