I have coughs and colds right now and I'm starting to worry about my medical. Hopefully I get better tomorrow so I/m all set on friday. I plan to do it in a day since I'm a graduating University student, hence very busy. Pray that i'll pass!

Just do water therapy. Hmmm,friday? Oh, well..upto you if you really think you can finish it in one day, just saying..remember, they don't open on weekends.

Yes, I'm the fiancee and I'm in the Philippines. So you wouldn't know the first day if you passed? I will do my medical this Friday

Doing your medical on a Friday means you will have to come back again on Monday, if you passed your medical, to get your vaccinations.

Some do manage to complete the whole medical in one day along with getting the vaccinations, this is the exception but it happened with my wife.

finishing your medical in one day depends on how busy st. lukes is on that day. arrive early. plan on two days. hope for one day. good luck to you.

If u want to get it done in one day, it is possible.

My fiance went in on feb 25th @ 5:30 am and was 21st in line. If u can, bring your email from the NVC. You can bring your interview confirmation instead but for some reason the guard was insistent on having the NVC email which we didn't have yet bec we moved fast on it. Maybe it was just bec of that one guard. However she was still able to do her medical.

She had all her tests done by about noon. She asked about the results and the nurse said if she wanted to wait till about 2:30, the results would be in and then if the results were clear, they could administer the vaccinations right then and there.

When she had her vaccinations that same day, the nurse said they ran out of TDap vaccination. A couple min later, another nurse came in and said a shipment of TDap came in. She got everything except for tetanus, which the nurse said my fiance would get in the US.

Again, it is indeed possible to get wverything done in one day but you have to get there really early and hope everything moves smoothly & quickly.

It was a idiot guard. SLEC required documents state either the embassy instructions letter or NVC letter.

Yup, my fiance actually said the same thing and told me he was an idiot and she was pretty pissed that he wasn't accepting anything but the NVC letter.

But thankfully the hospital staff didn't care

My wife rescheduled her interview appointment about 3 times before getting March 13. I suggest refreshing the page any chance you get to get a better date!

Idk where you got that. I called the Embassy and the woman on the phone told me CR-1 applicants can reschedule as many times as needed without any repercussions.

K-1s are not so lucky, two tries and they get a "time out" plus....
