ROC based on abuse... anyone?

Hi, there! I am just wondrin' if there are some people here filing for ROC based on abuse? I am trying help my friend for her paperwork..We have gathered all the evidences for the abuse like photo injury, RFA (Relief from Abuse) past and present, result of the final jury, hospital bills, letter from the shelter etc...as well as the evidences for bona fide marriage. Any idea how long it will take from filing to approval? thanks a lot.

Have your friend filing for divorce yet?

What I read here, you can file ROC based on abuse, and these applications tend to take longer - sometimes a lot longer.

Just get divorced and file the I-751 with waiver, if you have strong evidences for bona fide marriage.

Done with K1, AOS and ROC

Yes. You are just making it harder. You have to prove bona fide marriage either way. With a divorce waiver you just need a divorce decree, with abuse waiver you have to prove abuse as well.
