Not sure how many people here are familiar with Art Bell and Coast to Coast radio show. But how on earth did he get his new wife back to the USA so fast??

His age..her age...doesn't matter in this post.... what was asked was how did he get her back here so fast...He didn't they live in Manila and he does the show part-time from there...

Really glad someone asked the question on how he got her here so fast as I have been wondering the same thing. I actually DO listen to his radio show so let me (as far as I remember) clear up the time line here

Art Bell had been married to his wife Ramona (part Filipino) for 15+ yrs (by all accounts devotedly she often co-hosted his radio show) and living in USA. In the first week of January last year they were on a touring holiday and she suffered a massive asthma attack and died (he was devastated I well remember his first radio show after this probably most moving thing I'd heard).

By his account a friend of his told Aryan (sp) to contact him from Philipines she did they talked online for hours and by about APril he had moved to Philipines to marry her (amazing speed but he did seem genuinely happy and smitten - I don't judge folk until I have walked in their shoes) So living in Philipinnes he starts broadcasting his show from their. In October he announces on show she is pregnant and last week announces that they have moved back to his home here in states all legally and above board and she is now LPR.

So without judging his age diff, circumstances blah blah the question is how did he get her from their to here in sub 8 months !!!! I did wonder if his wealth or entertainment status would have helped her but it does seem rather fast for a country that usually requires max scrutiny? But he does insist it was all done through the proper channels etc etc.

He could have gone the DCF route. When I last read about it over 1.5 years ago a few people mentioned that DCF can take between 3-6 months.

If they married on 4/15 and didn't immigrate until near the end of December that's a little over 8 months. Is 8 months really that fast? I know Manila isn't known for a quick interview but it seems like their time was normal or just a little faster than normal.

To the other responder, they came back to the US on Dec 26th I believe and is broadcasting from home again.

From what we knew, he had originaly gone to the Phils in October and had her back in Dec. Our confusion. Had no idea about April.
