Hello to all visajourney people...i got to say,it's been a while since the last time i got hooked here.I got a new situation now & i'm hoping you guys could give me some more advice.

I've already got my 2years green card,& now i"ve decided to get my son who is already 15years old & going 16years old this coming 9th of June 2014.I've already recieved the NOA approval mail just 2days ago...i know it's been approved so i'm gonna be okay right?but me & my husband got financial problem (IRS Tax problem) , & one more thing is that my son wants to finish his HIGH SCHOOL in the PHILIPPINES,so i was thinking it's okay so i can save money to prepare for all of his flight expenses including well the EMBASSY APPOINTMENT FEE,MEDICAL FEE,plus some other expenses like food & transportation & last but not the least would be the AIRPLANE TICKET to come here in U.S.

All was kinda fine but i'm worried of if the approval has any expiration ?what any other option can i do to be settled & relax? please help me...all advices will be heartfully greatful.

Did you file the i130? Or was it your husband?

When is the priority date?

Normally, once NVC contacts you, you have one year to comply otherwise the petition will be cancelled/abandoned if you don't respond or contact them either via email, snail mail or phone.

Better check the PD coz your son is under the F2A category and that category is limited by the visa quota.

It may take a year or more before he can immigrate depending on the movement of priority dates in the Visa Bulletin.

Not really. He won't be given an interview letter until his PD becomes current. For now, those who filed earlier than 08 SEP 2013 are the ones being processed for interview. The F2A priority date on the visa bulletin has been stagnant for the past months and will continue to be so in the coming months.
