You aren't supposed to make plans to travel until you have a visa in your hand. An interview date does not mean you will have your visa by a certain date. It could be 3 days, 2 weeks, 8 weeks, 8 months....people have all had that experience for various reasons.

Thank you for your response Nich-Nick but I meant travel plans to go to the interview. Not everyone lives a hop, skip, and a jump away from London. =)

Ah gotcha! I have never heard of a date changing. Generally once it is "assigned" a letter is being generated to the beneficiary. I think the thing about London does not send out letters is over-stated in the grand scheme of all interviews they handle. Yes, mistakes are made or mail is lost, but they usually send a letter as soon as a date is given.

I called but my date still hasn't been set. I didn't expect it too be as I think the earliest my date might be set is end of next week. No drama. At least this wait is better than waiting on the USCIS and the NVC haha

I am waiting for my interview date too! Status ready on 3rd Feb and it was updated 12/2 but no news of schedule yet... Submitted NOR last Tuesday 11/2 and had my medical yesterday 13/2. Goodluck to us!!!

Good luck CharityRob your almost there. Your medical results should be at embassy by Wednesday then it's on to the waiting game again. Fingers crossed it's not a long one. By what I have seen with people's timelines interview dates are normally given after about a week and a half of receiving everything.

Mine has been the same since yesterday. Think the site is down for maintenance or something as a few people on here have mentioned it. I called the NVC last night and my case is fine it's just awaiting a date now.

Hi,

If you only had your medical on the 13th Feb you can expect to wait a little bit longer until they inform you of your interview. I had my medical on the 13th Jan, and my interview was 11th Feb. I got the letter inviting me to the interview on 28th Jan. Based on that you could well get yours next week!
