Patiently awaiting interview date. Who else here is waiting?

......and if you can't rant about immigration delays here, where can you rant about them! :-)

Rants, impatience, disappointment are one thing. Placing blame on lazy bureaucrats is different. Indeed the one placing blame needs to know they may have contributed to their own delay. 1) There was an RFE on the petition. 2)The medical didn't get logged, but the medical was attended a full 14 days before the case arrived at the embassy. Could that be why the medical was sitting in Neverland instead of attached to the case file? London has a procedure. Are they being lazy by stopping their work flow (and other people's cases) to deal with somebody who chose not to follow the procedure?

I apologise for my outburst. Didn't mean to offend anyone.

Thank you.

Hi all,

congrats to all who had their interview scheduled/completed!

I'm waiting for my husband's interview date as we're ready to move to the States near my family.-His medical was over 4 weeks ago and I see that our status has been updated recently so hopefully get the scheduling letter soon. What number did you use to call the NVC to get your interview date? (703) 439-2367 or 020 7499-9000?

I just want to make sure they have everything they need.

Thanks!

Hullo! My appointment was at 8, I was out by 8:45, Approved!

We got there at 7:10 and by 7:30 a sizeable queue had formed, so recommend getting there early.

Altogether a very easy experience, the "interview" lasted about 1 minute, asked us how we'd met & when he first moved over, then said thanks for the clear letter stating salary in US (he's being transferred) and it was done.

The documents they actually looked at from our stack were

- W2 receipt from last year

- Marriage Certificate

- Birth Certificate

- Police Certificate

- Passport

- HR letter

We had a variety of other stuff including wedding photos, W2s from last three years, voter registrations, drivers license etc, but luckily none of it was needed.

I got Packet 4 / appointment letter today.

Step 1 on the green form is to complete the DS230 Part 1 & 2. That's wrong isn't it? We don't need to complete the DS230 anymore right?

Appleslices, you mean DS160, right?

**ignore above - it's D160 for K1, and DS260 for CR1 I think**

When did ya find out ya interview date?

The Office of the Congresswoman who was helping me follow up my case emailed the embassy and found it out today. Apparently, they sent me a letter on the 21st of Feb. but I didn't get it up to now.
