CR 1 interview at Manila US Embassy

Hi Fellow VJers!

I need your help for specific Manila US Embassy rule if it is. We got our case completed on Jan 27. 2014 and got the appointment letter on Jan 29 with Mrach 13, 2014 interview. We rescheduled my interview on February 12, 2014 but our case didn't leave until Friday, Feb 7, 2014 so the expected delivery would be before Feb 11, 2014. My questions are, is it safe to take the interview on Feb 12, 2014 if the case shows ready at CEAC on Feb 11, 2014 or do we need to reschedule it? What number can we call to confirm that we can have the interview the earliest possible?

11/07/2012 - Married

12/07/2012 - I-130 Received at the Chicago Lockbox

12/12/2012 - Received NOA1 in the mail

03/04/2013 - RFE received for a completed G-325A

03/11/2013 - RFE Response Sent to Chicago Lock Box as per the USCIS Rep

03/14/2013 - RFE Received

04/23/2013 - Confirmed with USCIS L2 rep that the RFE was received

05/20/2013 - Received a denial Email

05/24/2013 - NOA2, I-797 Denial letter received. Reason - Due to Abandonment (can only be reopened or re--filed and not appealable)

05/31/2013 - Emailed the Ombudsman to complain regarding incorrect info provided by USCIS L1 and L2 Reps that lead to the denial.

06/14/2013 - Got a Response from DHS that they received and will try to help us.

06/21/2013 - Got an email from the Ombudsman that they requested for our case to be re-called from National Records Center and back to our Service Center which is the St. Paul SC. Turn around time is 3 weeks since it is on it's way to NRC. ( St. Paul SC - NRC back to St. Paul)

06/26/2013 - Sent a new I-130

07/01/2013 - New I-130 received by Chicago Lockbox

07/08/2013 - Got 3 email from USCIS. 1st email 12:01am PH Time- says our case was reopened and will be reviewed within 30 days and will be notified by mail for the decision. 2nd email 1:31am PH Time - says, Our case was approved and was mailed an instruction to follow. 3rd email 1:31am PH Time - says, It was reopened and was mailed a notification about the case being reopened(Yes- 2nd and 3rd Email were sent at the same time). On the USCIS check status link, it just says the same as the 3rd email.

07/11/2013 - Got NOA2

NVC Journey

07/25/2013 - NVC Case number generated

07/29/2013 - NVC hard copy received

08/01/2013 - AOS Paid online

08/02/2013 - AOS showed paid online

08/02/2013 - IV invoice received through email

09/26/2013 - Mailed withdrawal letter for the 2nd I-130

11/01/2013 - Received email of the confirmation of the withdrawal

11/08/2013 - AOS sent by mail

11/25/2013 - IV Paid

11/26/2013 - IV Packet mailed

12/09/2013 - IV Packet received

12/12/2013 - AOS RFE Received

12/17/2013 - Medical exam at St. Luke's - PASSED!!! Arrived before 3:30am(#6), completed the exams at 9am. Returned 1:30pm for the results. Confirmed for immunization(first batch) at 2pm. (Just asked the nurse). 3:30pm Left SLEC with the x-ray cd and immunization document.

12/31/2013 - AOS RFE Sent

01/08/2014 - Checklist about not receiving the AOS came in email

01/08/2014 - AOS RFE received by NVC

01/27/2014 - CASE COMPLETE

01/29/2014 - P4 email received - Interview date March 13, 2014, rescheduled online interview to February 12, 2014

02/06/2014 - Cancelled Feb 12 resched since the Casefile hasn't been shipped. Resched it to Feb 19

Hi, you need to confirm first with usem because a week after my case left nvc, i called and asked if i can already have my interview scheduled since it's been 4 days that may case is ready as per ceac. However the lady said i cant schedule yet because they still havent received the "physical" file from nvc. The number to call is (632)301-2000

Ps. I still went ahead and scheduled my interview for the 25th, i think thats enough time for them to receive the physical file. Hehe good luck on your interview!

Hi! Case is not yet in manila but hopefully nxt week it'll arrive and i havent call the us embasy in manila yet. But we will call them nxt week... Do i need to call them frst before attempting to set the interview online? Again thank for the useful info.. God bless!

Actually we have the same question. lol! Our case left on feb 7 and hopefully it will be at the USEM Manila early this week. Your case will come before ours. As per kryspekreme our docs should be "physically" received by the USEM. So I guess you need to call them first to make sure that you can have your interview on the date you will resched it. Tho I have mine resched on Feb 19. The last time I resched, Feb 12 and 13 are available and Feb 18 and 19 same with Feb 25 and 26 if I am not mistaken. Other option is get it resched and call the USEM and ask if you can go through the interview on the day you resched it. That is what we will do. Call the USEM next week once we get our case ready to ask if we can go through the interview on the 19th. ",) keep us updated

I tried to track your file from nvc to usem and maybe this will help you. There was a package thats left NVC building last feb. 7 - try to log here dhl.com and use "waybill #" as your tracking number and track that package. Maybe thats yours going to usem.

Sad to say i dont have p4 yet, because our file was in expeditious process and i already advise nvc to give me the earliest interview date and what they did they send our file right away to usem on feb 4 as per usem request last feb 3 according to thr emails.
