Fiance Laid off, Already Sent in Paperwork!

I am the petitioner, and my fiance is the beneficiary.

We just received NOA 1, and now my fiance has gotten laid off at his job!

Is there anything that can be done, or will we be in trouble when they realize he no longer works where we said he did?

Yep. There will be more forms to fill out and documents to obtain once the petition is approved for the consulate stage. Any previously provided biographical information will be reviewed with your fiance by possibly a pre-screener and most certainly the interviewing official (CO). No worries. The petition is mostly about the petitioner. At the interview stage, your fiance will get his/her vetting.
