Hi everyone , I hope Im posting my question in the right place..

My husband has his the interview in the Montreal, Canada consulate on February 21.

Should I go with him to the interview? What are the pro & cons?

Is the officer going to ask me question and maybe try to see if both of us agree on the answers?

My memory is really bad with dates and names , so if that is the case I need to start memorizing dates :(

Thank you for your help

This is a hotly contested topic. I posted about it after my husband's interview because for us it made a huge difference. My husband didn't remember the exact date of my last trip to Jamaica so the CO called me into the interview and I explained I had been there 14 times and then he asked me how many times since we were married. Then he asked me to confirm the dates of some recent photos. My poor husband was so nervous that he just was having trouble remembering dates.

I know every consulate is different so I'm not sure about Cananda. But I am so glad I decided to be there with him because I'm not sure what would have happened if I wasn't.

Hope this helps.

Than he should fine. I think it just comes in handy if something goes wrong at the interview.

The interview in Montreal is easy peasy lemon squeezy.
If you both attend, they will ask you both questions. When we went to our interview there were lots of people there with out their spouses.

We were asked a total of five questions: How did you meet? How long have you been together? When and where did you get married? How well does he get along with my children? Are there really 11 Final Fantasy games?

Speaking of the Montreal Consulate, I read on their site that they only allow interpreters if you don't speak English, or a parent if you are under a certain age to accompany the applicant. Are you sure spouses can attend the interviews with their wives/husbands? I want to take my wife and just want to be sure I can.

yes, Montreal allows the US citizen spouse to accompany them. They don't allow attorneys or interpreters.

I didn't have my interview in Montreal (Vancouver for me), but my fiance (now husband- yay!) came, and the co laughed at the 'evidence' I brought. The co never asked my fiance any questions... I never knew bringing the fiance to the interview was such a hot topic lol, Whatever you prefer is what you should do :). Good Luck!
