Hello,Guys, i will be more than happy to get some kind of advises on my situation.

Here is the thing,i have my interview scheduled for the end of February, filed on the base of marriage to my husband(USC),

We have overdue taxes for 2010,m husband was in the hospital for a very long time,so we failed filing on time(i'm not working),in 2011,beginning,we filed 2010,IRS put the penalties on us due to the failure to file.

Because we had a serious situation going on,we came to advocacy group and they filed the paperwork supporting the suggestion to IRS to remove the penalties due to my husband conditions, that didn't allow us to file on time. They also sent the copies of my husband's medical receipts and documents.

We got the payment agreement on year 2010 and i filed n-400,but because of the government shutdown we had to refile it again(either the paperwork was lost, etc). So we did.On January 14, 2014 we have received the IRS statements, that they removed the penalties due to provided medical paperwork and my husband's good taxpayer background(neither he never failed filing the taxes, nor he was late or taking extension,of course before 2010),and that during two weeks we will also get our new penalty-free payment agreement.

My concern is that IRS is slow,i don't know whether it really will take 2 weeks,or longer than that, but my interview is coming up and i'm way too stressed out, because i can not control IRS(btw,we have 2009,2010,2011,2012 filed and w2 for 2013 to file in april,so filing wise it looks somewhat clear),but i'm afraid to come to the interview with no agreement,in case if they send it later,is there any alternative paperwork that we can bring?my husband is going to the interview with me,although he's gonna stay outside and wait)??is there some documents ,apart from agreement, that we can provide to show that we are willing to pay,but haven't received the agreement yet, although the paperwork for it is filed?

My husband says,if we won't get it before the interview ,we can go to the local federal IRS office and ask them to print out official paper that says that payment agreement is pending and they are working on it,do you think it is going to by sufficient enough to have my interview smooth?

or maybe you have any other ideas?i know for sure, that i have to bring some kind of paperwork on it,apart from my 1040 forms for 2009,2010,2011,2012.

Sorry for the long post, just wanted to describe in details in order to provide a better information for the advise.

well it's pending.they didn't give us any amount yet that we have to pay(i only have the old one that i filed with my n-400,but we refiled for penalty-removal,so the previous agreement is no longer functional),or do you mean-print out the paper that says that the paperwork for agreement was filed and it is pending?because we are waiting for the decision from IRS,we did everything we could to get the settlement,it's is now their job to give us the answer.but i'm afraid we won't get it before the interview.

or do i misunderstand you?

Can you pay in full the liabilities? besides IRS, Don't forget state tax ;iabilities.... good luck...

My suggestion, get a personal loan to payoff all tax liability since your interview is approaching and the governement tax rate is higher than local bank interest rate.

IcyStar, Generally with payment agreement as long as you have been regularly making payments you are fine. You have enough documents to show that you have maintained good standing in the prior years and IRS has accepted you reasons for the delay in Filing for 2010 and have waived off the penalties, Thats is more than enough for the interviewing officer to ascertain your good intentions. Just take the last correspondence you have from the IRS mentioning the waiving off the penalties . Also take along copies of your husbands hospitalization summary, I don't think the IO would ask for them, just to be on the safe side if the IO wants to see for any reason.... Good luck on your interview.
