incorrect A# on NOA1 for I485

Hi all- he got his NOAs today giving his receipt numbers for I485 and I765. We got the expected rejection for our I131 (wrong payment amount).

But we have a distinct issue with the I485 NOA. His A# is WRONG!!! it is correct on the other two things they mailed us today. so he called the National Customer service number and they told him to ignore the wrong number and that they would "merge the A#s together."

Since his receipt number is not yet in the system, the guy on the phone couldn't do anything else. he suggested we call back in 2 weeks when we might be in the system.

Has anyone else had trouble with this? we're slightly concerned...

Thanks

If you're really concerned you can make an infopass appointment and try to sort out things there, I know from my own expirience that they are much more helpful than calling the info line. I heard here about people that had a few A# and it didn't cause them any troubles, so maybe there's nothing to worry about.
