Hi guys lil confuses about the 3 years tax return thing i was Worried the proverty line for 3 people is $24.412 but its for the total amont for 3 years or just for 1 year i made it this much money and also is this after taxes or with taxes plz help me i m Very confuses Thanks.

No. If the petitioner is CURRENTLY making enough, and hopefully having made over the year before as well. If not you can use assets to help the difference.

What is that means to use assets to help the difference??and also Can i use 2013 as my most recent tax return Bcoz I am planing to file on feb 4 and i am still waiting for the case number.

At this point the AOS doesnt need to include the 2013 taxes. That's not required until April 15, 2014. But if the petitioner has it done and wants to include it then yes you can.

For example if you were to use only assets you would need 3 times the assets, so about $60000. But lets say you make $1000 less a year than is required by the poverty guidelines. You can then use $3000 worth of assets to "make up the difference" between the income and poverty guidelines.
