plz advice me if what to do, ds-160 one of the question said (Do you have a communicable disease of public significance)

one of the questions makes me worry.Do you have a communicable disease of public significance? significance include tuberculosis, i have spot in my lungs and i undergo now a medication for the said spot .what should i do? what the best answer it is YES or NO? thanks to all !

I would say, it's better to answer yes. You'll get medical examination later on before the interview anyway and they will know about that. If you are trying to hide, I am afraid you'll get in trouble by concealing information. Remember, before the interview, they will ask your oath that you tell the truth on all the papers including DS-160 form. Better be honest now rather than sorry later. Good luck!

hello,

just an advise, before you fill up your ds 160 form make sure slec release your medical report. they can advise if your clear or not or need further medication. once everything is ok put "NO" because your totally treated. as far as i know slec not allowing you to proceed on your interview not unless your medical is not clear thats the reason why slec had two test during the medical if your suspected for tb you will undergo smear and culture test if the two test is negative they release your medical report and if your positive you have undergo treatment for 6 months. good luck keep on praying god is god and he knows everything.
